A cyborg is any human (or other creature) who has been modified to include any electronic or mechanized elements. The term comes from an abbreviation of cybernetic organism.

A cyborg can have any part of their body augmented or replaced by cybernetic parts. A human brain in an entirely robotic body qualifies, as does a computer brain inside an otherwise human body. An augmentation might be, for example, robotic legs that can propel the cyborg a long distance; a replacement might be cybernetic eyes if the character went blind, for example. In this era cyborg technology is fairly advanced among some societies, yet hardly used in others. Pretty much any cyborg augmentations are permitted within reason. Cyborgs may have been created for use in warfare, to carry out tasks that humans cannot (for example working in non-oxygen/nitrogen based atmospheres) or to correct medical issues with individuals.

When creating a cyborg, bear in mind why and how the character became augmented. Use your imagination and have fun!
