Fey, fae or fairies are mystical creatures that live alongside the human world. They rarely conform to the same rules as other creatures, being a kind of spirit of Nature. Faeries have peculiar morals, ranging from the ambilvalent to the downright malevolent, when it comes to humans. Faeries come in many different forms; pixies, dryads, nymphs and sidhe to name a few.

All faeries are extremely allergic to iron, and are susceptible to other magical practices worked by humans. Faerie magic can include illusions, manipulation of time, and supernatural seduction, as well as control over or affinity with the natural environment.

In forms and power, they vary more than any other race. Faeries also have their own spiritual realm that exists in parallel to the human world. Faerie courts are normally presided over by a King and/or Queen.
